Morning Ben,

These are great little plants and although they have declined in the UK we did have some in a fenced off area at the local nature reserve.

Ben I think you can make this stand out from the background a touch more if you use elements/Ps etc. After making a copy go into your blend modes and select "overlay" this has a subtle way of altering the colours and contrast. I've added this in the mod and then reduced the opacity to 38% before erasing the effect from the background by using a layer mask and black brush, the effect isn't to dramatic but it as made a sublte difference. There also to my eye appears to be too much empty space on the right, as the flower is leaning to the left I feel it would balance the image if the space was on that side.

In the mod I have also added some canvas to the left and cropped some off the right.

Ben, have a look and let me know what you think.

Take care
Martin

What's important for me is the contrasting angles of the 'wings' - they really seem about to fly off. Dynamic flowers.
