Hi Annette. No, it's called a crap lens I think--if you look back in my portfiolio each of the close ups done with this lens is the same--I like it but without care it can look unfocused. I have learned to live with it and on ocassion turn it to my advantage. I have had the lens for at least 10 years so maybe it is time to make another purchase. Oh no not another lens!!
