Rocks emerging

Rocks emerging by karen61

Looks like smokeSmile I Like the more abstract feel.

Wet Night in Edinburgh

Wet Night in Edinburgh by KatyJ

The colours through rain cluttered glass add vibrancy - the two black figures also catch my eye. These two components make the image a success to my eye - a closer crop would have bought more enjoyment.Smile

Never Too Old

Never Too Old by AnneWorner

People watching people watchers - My mind revels in the concept portrayed in your simple but elegant take on the art of 'street'

Marble Arch Man (B&W)

Marble Arch Man (B&W) by nickthompson

Another 'decisive moment' captured with poise and integrity.

Jackpot by nickthompson

Interesting - I'd of like to have seen a colour version to exaggerate the 'tack' so to speak, a la Martin Parr - Tmax 3200 is B&W?

Less is .. .. .. in mono

Love street photography - 'Less is more' is also the perfect title. I'd like to see a version with ALL other people cloned out of existence....I think it would then be worth an award 9/10Grin

Despair by Youngjedi75

I like the idea, and love to see people get creative with photography - it is an art after all! I think it needs a bit more anguish in the hand pose, more tense perhaps? Think you should pursue the idea though, I can see many hands growing through the gaps in the pavement along side weeds, the hands in different creepy poses.Wink

Ver good! Textures are what do it for meSmile

Day Trippers

Day Trippers by jskazza

I like the almost fish-eye quality of this image and the human interaction with the scene adds to the 'street side of it - people in stride always bring my mind to Cartier-Bresson. Nice work

a Dream of Dying

a Dream of Dying by MichaelBilottaPhotography

The concept coerces my vote for originality of said concept.

Colourful Street

Colourful Street by snapoutgoing

I like thisSmile - I would try next time to get horizontal and/or vertical lines of the buildings parallel to the frame edges though as this makes for a more powerful composition. Also maybe shoot from a lower angle or get in close to a building to start off an interesting and stronger diminishing perspective through front to back - this would also add depth. Flat on shooting with scenes like this also work very well - just experiment, lie in the floor, get in close to corners of buildings, turn the camera on it's side to portrait instead of landscape format. Have funGrin

Tulip Window

Tulip Window by Quoise

Cool shotSmile It's what has been extracted here rather than elements the artist inclulded that make it successful. I think flowers can have a certain sensual something. Sullenness & subtlety in spades. Superb. Smile

Looks like its a photo of something in minature for some reason? Love it.

Pop Goes The World

That is pretty cool, bit like a floating marble, or fluffy smile.
