Hi, well I have finally finished (well 99.9%) converting my garage into a studio.

Once I had been in a studio I caught a bug that meant that I felt I needed something useable at home. I purchased some second hand lighting from the epz classifieds and set to work in September.

Anyway here is a test shot with my youngest treasure who still (at the moment) is quite happy to mess about with Daddy.

I used 1/125, F11, ISO 100 with a large light box, shoot through umbrella and 2 lights to fill the white backdrop.

Please view large if you have the time

Any C&C's very welcome as well as any technical tips. Cheers, Raife

A lovely portrait of your beautiful daughter. Make hay while the sun shines, when they get older they aren't so cooperative. Nice work. Andy

Its a lovely pose, but looks a little dark to me on this screen.

Uploaded a mod with a curves adjustment, eyes lightened, sharpened, and a little diffuse glow added.

Its worthwhile doing a monitor calibration of you have Adobe Gamma available in Control Panel on a PC.

Regards

Willie
