Many thanks to CliveA, Lifesnapper & Cor for their UA's on Streets of London & to Pete for the HC. Here'sanother from my visit to the city on Friday - this area is called 'More London' I particularly liked the little reflection of Tower Bridge in this office window.

More London is a new development on the south bank of the River Thames, immediately south-west of Tower Bridge in London. It includes the City Hall, a sunken amphitheatre called The Scoop, office blocks, shops, restaurants, cafes, and a pedestrianized area containing open-air sculptures and water features, including fountains lit by coloured lights.

More London is 13 acres (53,000 m2) in size and has planning consent for 3,000,000 square feet (280,000 m2) of mixed use space, of which up to two million square feet will be offices, accommodating up to 20,000 people. The buildings were designed by Foster and Partners architects and some are still under construction. The buildings are known as 1 & 6 More London Place, and 2, 3, 4 and 7 More London Riverside. The public realm, which includes The Scoop, water features and planting areas were designed by Townshend Landscape Architects.

Thanks as always for your time, your thoughts/comments are very welcome.
Regards - Sarah J x

Crisp, vibrant colours Smile

I can only remember City Hall & Tower Bridge, so it appears this area has been revitalised quite a lot since my last visit.

Wow! Sarah! I've never seen it looking this good... Well done indeed!
I've been struggling to get something good from this building for ages, it always seems to be in shadow when I'm there!
I wouldn't mind knowing what time of day this was taken, although I'm guessing late afternoon early evening.

Note to self.... Must try harder!

Shortlisted,

All the best,

Tony

This is a very well spotted and interesting shot. The reflection of Tower Bridge clearly identifies this as a London scene and the curves and colours are brilliant.
Being an ex Londoner, I was interested to read your text;apart from Tower Bridge, I probably wouldnt recognise the place now.
