Hi Sarah, this is lovely, and it just shouts out the beach the sea the shore. It is full of amazing texture and the tones which are so similar the natural and the man made almost become one. I really love this and it is going on my favourite list, excellent work

Either the remains of some green paint, or traces of copper in the metal? Curious.
I love the angle you've taken this, it gives nice lingering diagonal lines. I think I'd prefer it less bright though, and I suspect that reducing brightness would give greater depth, substance.

Moira, I was just thinking myself that perhaps it was a bit too bright, might have another play with it later Smile

My processing isn't very sophisticated, but my reflex reaction when I've taken a rust shot is to reduce Brightness usually by around 5-7%, (and possibly boost Contrast a tad afterwards), it can make a terrific difference. And very discreet use of the Burn tool can bring forward foreground textures. Wish this was up for Mods!

Thanks Moira for the advice, have just done a mod and I do think it looks better - reduced the brightness by nearly 20% though Smile

The bright was nearly right, maybe somewhere between if you're doing a print.

Yes, there's certainly some fine texture and tones there, Sarah. Think V2's better, as it's losing some detail in the highlights at the centre top in V1.
