Taken way back in 2006
Hi everyone, hope you are having a chilled weekend
Been looking back through my old RAW files and I thought I’d revisit this one.
1/13 sec at F22, ISO 200
Large version is a bit better, if you have the time
Thanks for looking.
So feel raw is the way forward for me as see this shot and think wow
Lovely peaceful sunset shot.
Yes very pleasing - good to have the birds
Wonderful dramatic shot Alan, well done.
Excellent, I think it might be stronger without the Swans.
It's so full of magic it just can't be real =) Lovely scene!
Thanks folks. Jonny, RAW is the way to go, I've never used anything else and now I can revisit old files with new methods and software.
Its a beauty Alan
Excellent colours and great foreground interest from the swans.
The light and subject are wonderful.
So glad you did a rework....Your original friendly visit is one of my favourites.

Wow, the light on the back of the swan's neck really makes it for me and a dramatic sky too.

A lovely shot with gorgeous light.
An outstanding piece of work!
that is some sky and the yellows you've pulled out are fantastic. nice swan action - good to see them actually doing something
the bottom left looks artificially bright for some reason, tone mapping or dodging maybe?
Must be tone mapping Ade, coz I've not touched it with the dodge tool.
Looks great to me Alan, Raw is wonderful don't you think,
