Well, I got my most 'successful' upload from a very similar shot to this, taken a week or so ago at Paddys hole. I've convinced myself this is a sufficiently different angle to warrant a separate upload. The detail is not so visible through the water, and the composition is more cluttered, but the light is better on the side of the boat(s). Thanks for looking and especially for all comments. Hope you can take the time to see it large.

Thats works well .. lots of punch and for some maybe a bit too much ... but it kicks you between the legs and then stamps on you a bit ... well hard!

Wonderful warm highlight on the side of the boat, lovely detail and a great still water reflection.
This is a special image. The colours, tones, detail and composition are all spot on, and what fantastic reflections. A stunning image, and one to be *very* proud of ![]()
Thanks
Mark
Wow, thanks everyone, and for the award, Sezz. Hawkeye, this is a two shot hdr and I used a circular polarising filter and an nd grad and a fill in flash. Sharpened and cropped a little from the top - not much else. Hope that helps.
Dan, that really made me laugh - and squirm a little, too, actually ![]()
Another stunning shot Leigh, love the colour and detail in the rope leading you into the image.
Darren.
WOW ! absolutely stunning photography Leigh, the exposure is absolutely perfect and the detail incredible, very well done indeed.
Sam
P.S I have done a mod or should I say crop to my own personal taste but there is no way anything could be made better here.
Wow, thanks, Photosparky, for your award - very much appreciated.
