Hello and welcome to my lil space on ephotozine... x
Following on from the C&C Critique forum thread the following is my review of Shannrons PF:
1. What do you like of their PF (if you do)?
A rather good PF to review, sorry I haven't come across it before.
Excellent moody landscapes.
2. What do you think is lacking in their PF?
As with many of us variety, both in style, the landscapes look like there processed similarly, try a lighter feel sometimes, try to convey a message. Sometimes a more natural feel is called for particularly in the wildlife shots. What about more mono conversions
3. How do you think they can improve their PF?
Variety, step out of the comfort zone more (although your far from the worst culprit). experiment. Dont just concentrate on the dark tones, use curves / levels to lift selective parts of the image.
4. What do you like to see in their PF?
Expand on some of the studio shots it looks like you have a raw talant for it that just needs improving with practice.
5. Whose work would you recommend them to have a look at (if you know any)?
I'm sure you know the main landscape ones on EPZ, what about the American Marc Adamus, theres Rarindra on EPZ, for people try out Andrzej Dragan The "original" Dragan effect - note his arn't the cartoons we often see tagged Dragan.
