Another from the Epping Forest meet on Sunday. This is my play for title of smallest fungus photographed! ![]()
This is the tip of a young Candlesnuff 'prong' taken with a 100mm macro with a 500D close-up lens attached. Just to give a sense of scale the fungus was less than 2mm in diameter and I didn't even spot the water droplets until I looked through the viewfinder. Glad there were there though ![]()
