Even the dying stuff looks interesting... Well composed.
Better than just dumping in the compost bin, which is all I could do with the huge budhlea(sp) that I chopped back earlier on.

Thanks for your comments everyone. This was a shot I'd often thought of doing. A sort of counter-balance to all those perfectly formed flowers we often see on these pages. I don't see it as depressing really, just part of life.
