I never get tired of photographing South Africa's most common raptor, the Black Shouldered Kite. Normally I would discard photos that show the powerlines whenever possible (his favourite hunting perches) but in this one, taken just as he flew off, it looks like he's balancing on a tightrope.

Apologies if I don't reply to any comments quickly, as I'll be leaving in an hour's time for a weekend away. I'll catch up when I get back.
