Just a quickie before I get ready to pick up the wife. Its been a long week...
Midday (or there about) on a blustery day in Brighton. The previous 2 days had heralded nothing in terms of light in the evening - so I thought I'd try a little bit of a big stopper...

Edit: worth mentioning that I took this with a mono conversion in mind. Haven't gotten around to that yet...

Fantastic and slightly surreal image/composition. The near symmetry is brilliant as is the near silhouette of the pier. For me, removing the small area of pier remains on the right and toning down the blue in the top left would make an even stronger image. Certainly would like to see a mono version. ![]()
