Todays image is taken using the lo-fi technique - deliberate camera movement. In this case the image was handheld using a shutter speed 1/6th sec and vertical movement.
These images are what I term marmite images - you either love them or hate them. For me DCM, along with other lo-fi techniques can be a fabulously effective way of communicating things that straight images can not seem to deliver - although the visualisation process is more experimental than deliberate. For me this image has resulted in a dream like quality - but it also resonates a sense of spirituality. Choose to disagree - thats fine. We all take away something different when we view images (thats part of the fun isn't it?).
