Bit of a darker moody feel to this one. I took this sat on the wet rocks with a 5sec exposure at f/22 to try and get the most of the last light.
I was going to go for a straight Selenium tone approach, but then decided I liked the contrast with the hint of orangey tones of the rocks.
Thank for looking LARGE maybe better if you get a chance
Has th PM stamp all over it even from the thumb!!!
Great image !
Definately an awesome shot Paul, I expect nothin less
agree with Paul here....screams PM even from thumbnail. Absolutely superb textures in those rocks, a foreground to die for, good water exposure and topped with a moody sky - consider all the buttons ticked!
Again Paul as said above all the buttons ticked, excellent sir.
Up to your normal high standard
Great texture & colours on rocks, lovely seascape.
Beautiful use of colour, Paul.
Oranges and blues - classic complementaries.
Highlights a tad bright perhaps? Could be my monitor.
All the best,
Interesting choice of title Paul - care to expand?
Top notch image Paul.
Like the details and tones in this Paul - well captured and processed.
Thanks everyone - much appreciated!
Cheers Adam, very generous of you!!! - the title is a "Fuel" track from their Angels & Devils album - just thought it complimented the image - no real deep meaning - honest!
Highlights could well be a bit overdone Bill, checked the histogram before the PS work, may have pushed the curve over the edge!
Yes, I could tell this would be yours Paul Good use of colour and texture.
excellent as usual, like the moodiness
The large version is superb Paul. The textures in the rocks really shine through then.
Nice mood to this shot Paul.
Superb! Love the foreground detail.
There's always so much detail in your pictures that gives the eye so much to explore.
Totally agree with Chant57 on this. It's got Pmorgan all over it.
Absolute belter, Paul, glad you brought this particular memory home
great foreground comp pulls you in
Looks mighty fine to me Paul.
Superb quality Paul.
Superb as ever
A lovely image Paul, I thought it was leave only footsteps though (obviously not in the Fuel track).
Great foreground that leads you in very nicely to the main picture. Nice composition
Wonderfully atmospheric image Paul
A classic shot. Great fg texture and mood throughout. Wonderful.

Superb as ever!
Great drama in this, really like the light and texture on the rocks.
