I know it's safe to post this one as no-one on the 'mini-meet' has this in their bag.
This was taken this morning with the brief light we got for sunrise at Saltburn-on-Sea. Taken just as the sun was rising at about 5.15 am. A big thanks to 'her indoors' for the loan of her Lee 2.5 Hard Grad for this one

Enjoy the rest of your weekends folks, catch up with you soon ... just ordering a Chinese meal for tonight ![]()

Just enough mate, worth getting up early for a shot like this ![]()
Mark
That's right Cole she isn't, even so, my sunrise shots yesterday morning at Whitby [using my Cokins] are great too, I think any purple casts can be masked at those times, due to the hues you get around dawn & dusk. I WILL be investing in some Lee's in the near future I think.
Cheers guys, was one of those mornings where we very nearly just went back to sleep ... but I suppose my tenacity and doggedness pulled us through ... glad we made the effort too Mark ![]()
Paul
Like the perspective Paul & super sky colour
Nice to meet you & Fran again
Glynnis
Cheers Tony. No grad line at all, though I do see what you mean ... so you're not quite dippy yet
It's just a darkening towards the horizon. I took a few with both hard and soft grads and it's there on them all!!!
Cheers Adam, means a lot mate ... will soon be on my website methinks, discount for EPZ'ers if you [or others] are interested ![]()
LOL, not YET Tony, not YET ![]()
Had its moments Roy, if you look carefully, you can just make out Schools Class 'Repton' pulling a nice set of teak coaches!!! ![]()
Paul
No no no!! Far to minimal For EPZ!! ![]()
I on the other hand love the comp and the processing on this Paul. Have the second of what I feel may be many awards!
Phil.

Bang on the money, I'd say. Lovely image.
'Twas good to meet you and Fran again this weekend. I was on Saltburn beach with the family about 5 hours after you took this shot this morning. Suffice to say, it didn't look quite the same by then!
Cheers,
Steve
A beautiful image Paul, try as I might I can't find anything to criticise and I've stared at the large version for ages
Perfect in every way.
Darren.
Thanks guys & gals, hope you've all had a weekend as good as mine, very tiring but well worth it!!!
Yes Alley, the HiVi 'cagoule' got an outing ... I'll see you at Spurn Point ![]()
Nearly did lie in Ange, we got up and reset the alarm for 5.30 but decided to 'go-for-it' anyway and bagged a couple of nice subtle sunrise shots

Cheers all,
Paul
Very nice Paul, I love the way the strong colour from the sun fades out to the blue tones from the clouds. I think there is enough in the shot as the pier and colour balance out the shot well
Gutted I'm away for the Spurn Point meet (don't let the missus hear me say that though! lol). I'm dying to do some coastal stuff at some point
Sean
