Sorry Moira, forgot to add that a man would come out hair dishevelled, sweating and coughing from the smoke... that way he can show he's done something useful.

A great piece of Documentary Photography, so very well exposed from the ideal point of view. My only concern is that of Health and Safety, she appears to not be wearing a mask of some sort in whcih to prevent the inhalation of dangerous fumes. A point to note

Hi Nathan, the whole point of these fire fighting exercises is that under real conditions, that is; in flight and with a real fire, she or the other stewards wouldn't have time to don masks etc. The first thing to do is try and contain or extinguish the fire... if that doesn't succeed then back up stewards or hostesses move in with masks etc. to battle the blaze. (see tomorrow's upload)
