Tough Life

Veronika lives on the streets of Rome. She comes from Romania. Passes her time outside a supermarket where she's not allowed to enter. She has to rely on money from passers by. Money she sends to her mother in Bucharesti where she is saving for an operation to repair her arthritic hips. Her Mother cannot walk and finds it difficult to care for Veronika's daughter. Veronika lives for the day she has enough money to return home and care for her Mother and daughter. She doesn't see how it will ever be possible. Neither do I.
