The last rays of the evening sun bounce off some of the stones forming part of the Castlerigg Stone Circle, Keswick. Behind is the view down St. John's in the Vale, with a gap in the clouds letting the sun highlight the peaks of the Helvellyn range.

Nicely picked out in a golden light, classical composition and well executed. The light on the peaks makes so much difference as well.

A splendid image - lighting and composition are both excellent.
However I think your framing is a little heavy.

I think I know what you mean about the framing - I wasn't sure myself. I wanted a certain amount of 'heaviness' to compliment the solid / heavy nature of the stones. It just looked right when I did it & I didn't have any better ideas. Thanks for the comment.
