About Me

how best to describe myself, well i'm getting on a bit now, played around with film cameras back in the seventies got into digital in 1995 with a 2.3mp Fuji, since then been stuck on Sony still have my F828 with night vision, never get rid of that plus have a sony A700 And the new A77 which is just such a fantastic camera, have a 50mm portrait lens 1.8 a 16-105 main lens and a 75-300 all sony, and the HVL f43 flash gun. As for my genre and style, well Ill shoot most things, I mainly love people so most of my stuff will be portraiture in a broad sense, I do a bit of landscape a few weddings under the belt and many school proms, did a bit for thurrock council and some community stuff for various groups. Event photography and party stuff I love. I would describe my style of shooting as that of a gunslinger rather than a sniper, when working on the last Rocky Horror Tour I would be surrounded by hundreds of fans so no time to set up shots, you just need to sense whats around you spin around and shoot. and try to hit the target without it looking like a snap shot, thats me thats what I do.
think that about sums me up
