Whoa! Very sharp. (And I'd like to see England win again in my lifetime but I'm also a Cub's fan so I'm not holding my breath)

Yes, that is tack sharp! I happen to have those cameras and that lens and have had very satisfactory results. Its made the 70-200 my go to lens quite often. I'll have to check into that micro adjustment thing.

Festive Steam

I'm so envious that you folks still run steamies in quite a few places, even if many are pretty much for show. Very well shot picture. Congratulations.

Glossy Ibis by NeilS

Glossy Ibis

All of the pictures are very sharp and well composed. I do have a question however. Why do they all seem to have a little haze? I know you used a 600mm lens with an extender and I'm curious if it was the atmosphere, lighting, or the lens itself? I don't think there is ISO noise but it makes we wonder. Very impressive all the same.

It isn't too hard to do to make it very sharp. All you need are some extension tubes and a tripod that you can move back forth until the composure is good with a sharp focus. You are very close to getting it right. If you really want to get into this, then get a slide like a Manfratto 454. It will enable you to get a dead on picture. Add a ring flash and you'll have it made.

Excellent depth of field. And you did this without any neutral density filters?

wildlife/nature by shydallah

Very good composure. Is there a way you could lighten it up just a little bit? The improvement might be dramatic with such a sharp focused picture.

Excellent. The monochrome lends it authenticity. Is it a Curtiss P36?
