Took this in early July about 8 in the morning. Very peaceful with a nice soft roar from the falling water. The sun kept going in and out with the clouds. Did not use any filters and used a tripod. ISO 400, 1/160th sec, Av 9.0, 9.27 mb converted from RAW.

A well composed scene . Looks a fine place to spend an hour or two.

The whites look rather blown though . If it had been mine I would have used a polarising filter or at least dropped one stop exposure ?

I agree about the filter. Next time I'll use a polarizing lens and bracket the shot. I'll also shoot at a much slower speed to see what effect it will have. Good excuse to go back; it isn't far from where I live.
I think I need more patience in trying different lenses and settings, etc from the exact same spot.

a lovely scene and nice colours, a good day to go would be when its overcast to help with the slower speeds needed. then try the different ND filters to slow it even more.
ant.
