Back to Lisbon again. Alfama is the oldest district of Lisbon, spreading on the slope between the Castle of Lisbon and the Tejo river. Its name comes from the Arabic Al-hamma, meaning fountains or baths.
I would like to thank you all of you, for you warm comments and votes on my yesterday upload.
Thank you for looking.

You have chosen some gorgeous evening light for this fascinating view over the rooftops.
It is one of my favourite parts of Lisbon; I think we even stopped for a drink on that terrace!

Brings back some good memories. I photographed a cockerel strutting along in the road just to the right of this scene - how many capital cities are there where you can do that?

I think it is the only capital in the world where you can do that Moira. Lisbon is my fav city.

Beautiful lighting on the town. Personally, I would crop off the very light top. It distracts the eye from the more subtle lighting
Super image, great pov and composition, great light too, beautifully captured and presented
