I must explain a frothy chop is slang for beer and secondly it has nothing to do with this photo, but I couldn't think of a title so it will have to do.Took this up Stahan a few months back.Thought it looked ok so I uploaded it. Cheers everyone have a good one, must be Frothy Chop time!

I can see why this froth from the ocean makes you thirsty oh ye captive of liquid gold fluids 
I will not have a frothy chop yet as it is now 5:15 am and still dark outside maybe after my son's cricket match this afternoon when it will be low 30C Have a great day !!
Great phenomenon, I wonder what IS in the water to make such a foamy beach. It doesn't happen every day you visit the beach (at least not in Scotland, maybe we're too tight to pour our drinks away! ). Anyway, I think V2 works the best, not really for its colour changes but more for its crop, the reduction in sky makes much more of a feature of the FG foam, which leads in better too and makes a dramatic image.
The colour of the spume, and the contrast with the clouds make v1 the strongest for me. Is this Strahan in Tassie? I have a feeling we saw this stretch of coast (without the froth) last January.
