This is a young Feral cat living in our wood heap. It had been killing our young chickens. Hunger drove it to do what comes naturally. Evading a trap I decided to feed it. So far so good. I returned to my kitchen after taking this shot and was surprised the cat was still staring at me in this way.
Scary bugger drove me to have a beer.SmileSmileSmileSmileTongue

Keep feeding her an she might surprise you one day. When an ex-feral/stray sits on your lap for the first time is always a great moment, although sometimes it takes a long time and a lot of food!

We 'have' a feral cat which adopted us.
Self sufficient but comes to be patched up after wear and tear.
Currently has a strained muscle on a front leg.

Good shot of this good looking cat.

Cats have that effect Kathryn. It will eventually, as Peter said, adopt you. Lovely picture. Peter.

Keep feeding him up then, when the BBQ season starts, I suggest sprinkled with Thyme accompanied by assorted roasted vegetables and some new potatoes. Yum! Smile

Great cat shot, don't go too close yet, though.
Hope this story has a happy ending.
