Another one from yesterday's forties event, this time with a few more people in costume. I was really happy with this turned out and went about giving it an aged look etc.

I have uploaded another version to try and resemble an old photo, a bit of fun but any tips to make it look even more distressed and authentic, would be much appreciated.

Well thank you for looking at my photo, I hope you enjoy and of course all comments and critiques are very much appreciated.

Cheers,

Matt

I agree with boov.
I would also suggest if any of the models is a smoker to have a ciggie lit..... remember Casablanca? - most of them were smoking - troubled times, war, anxiety, ciggies....
Play it again, Sam.

I like the tones in the colour one. Agree at least one of them would be smoking and of course they all look far to well fed for the '40'sTongueTongueTongue

A great capture Matt in what looks like very contrasty light.

I think the sepia toned one has a more authentic feel and suits the subject better....Peter

I like V2. Really suits. But should they be smiling? Not very scarey. Grin
