Good Evening!
Today I went out with a theme I wanted to capture, 'Underground'. Even though I am Norfolk based I found that There were a few opportunities for some underground photography. This is the first of them from the St. Stephens roundabout underpass. Not a particularly welcoming place but it gave me a exactly what I was looking for to begin with.
I wanted to give the image a bit of an un-inviting feeling so I went with that sort of idea with my processing. The poster of the hand stood out for me and sort of said to me that it was reaching up from beneath. To make the image a bit more striking and dynamic I took advantage of the distortion of my wide angle lens and turned the camera at a different angle to accentuate the extreme lines.
Well thank you for looking at my image and of course all comments and critiques are much appreciated.
Cheers,
Matt
