Some information about this monument
In May 2005, on the 60th anniversary of the fall of the Nazi regime and the end of World War II, the city of Berlin dedicated their Holocaust Memorial, designed to commemorate the murder of six million Jews at the hands of Hitler and his forces.

Deeply moving. We last visited Berlin a little while before this was created and I desperately want to go back in order to see it. I'm glad you kept this simple, straight, factual. It's not a place for gimmicky angles.

A considered shot of this memorial - mono suits it well, as it is a sombre place. The shapes and shadows add to it - I'm noticing several triangle shaped areas of light and shadow. Strong.
