I have taken this photo few days ago. The young man was there over 15 minutes and was looking at the horizon. I have some doubt about the light to the sculpture.I thought to crop, in order to eliminate the white, but in this case the composition changes totally.
Thank you for your warm comments and votes on my yesterday upload. Very appreciated.
Thank you for looking.

The light on the sculpture is wonderful - I think this would look good as a landscape - I think it might be worth loosing almost all of the sky, which then positions the wheelchair and the tall building well in the resulting image, and there would be a greater focus on the glorious golden light SmileSmile

I recognise the scene from earlier uploads, this is the best by far. It's a strong composition, it tells a human story, it creates a link between the wheelchair-bound man and the distant horizon.
Two things I would change here - rotate the image a degree or two anti-clockwise, the sea horizon is tilting a bit; and crop to square. That would give a more contained feel for the link that I've mentioned above. This is about the man and the sculpture in the distance, the amount of sky dilutes that relationship to my eye.

Mod uploaded. I've skewed the top right corner up a bit to level the sea, and cropped to square - a few pixels off the bottom to bring the diagonal straight into the bottom left corner, the rest off the top.

Interesting comments made above. I find I'm drawn more to Ivor's (Capto) mod, it looks better balanced and despite the greater amount of sky the wheelchair has greater significance in the lower part of the frame.

Incredibly difficult exposure with the sun hitting the metal straight on like that - it really gives a feel for the brightness of the setting sun. Well seen, and I think the square crop strengthens the image.
