Fresh from my first visit to Focus on imaging, I wanted to edit a photo to test out my new purchase from the show, some Permajet Titanium Lustre paper! Not a big spend, I know, but sadly I'm like a crow and I enjoy shiny things and had to try some out.

This photo is from my London trip, and I loved this photo but never got around to playing with it. It was a brief rain shower which caught my eye when I took the snap. When editing I wanted to go silvery toned to make the best of my first paper test. I wanted a bit of colour in the photo and the red popped out to me, which also gave me a the title.

Originally I was going to call it 'Triple Misery' due to the traffic jam, road works and the rain but I thought that was a bit too depressing for the title.

Well I tried printing it on the new paper, and I was very impressed, its pretty damn cool!! Certainly pleases the crow in me.

Anyway thank you for looking at my photo, and all comments and critiques are much appreciated.

Cheers,

Matt

Very effective use of colour popping. There is a point to it in your image, it is not done just because you can. Very thoughtful. ....peter
