Another impressive mono landscape. I like the inclusion of the dog.
Great landscape again Rod, the terrier draws the eye into the image well. Strong interest in the rock formations and a dramatic sky. Really like this one.
The mono creates lots of drama, your dog adds scale and interest and the high contrast works well for drama and enhancing the barns. It's a wee bit noisy in the sky for ISO 400 but I think that just adds to the feel of harsh weather conditions. Might be a little burnt out on the clouds too but given the high contrast feel, it's not a bad thing.
Spectacular contrast. The sky is superb.
Hi Al i added a wee bit of grain just for the banter lol
So he got to the top before you and he's feeling smug. Story. Very well expressed.
That's a powerful image, I think it's the dramatic sky that does it.
I didn't like the look of the Kale, but I did take a nice cod fillet from the beach shop home for tea.
That's a good'un pal. Just the right amount of contrast, loads of detail, really nicely processed. The blown highs in the sky, as Al points out, don't detract at all.
The attitude of the dog, with that lifted paw, is fantastic- perfectly timed shot. He seems in awe. Very witty title. Very Hollywood. Great.
Wonderful in all aspects, Rod!
Stunning mono with bags of atmosphere, I love the dog in the frame giving it scale, it sure does look cold!
Another great mono image, I wish I had been there !! Framing looks great, dramatic sky and your black and white treatment is gritty and edgy, so suits the subject perfectly. (is it silver efex?) The Dog gives great life and scale to the image. I think all the tones and exposure are just fine, nothing I would do different if I was there, other than I always bracket 2 or 3 exposures and then choose the best. this is no criticism, you might have done that! I love this image.
Aboot time we got ta see the expadition leader Agree wi awe body else this is anither grade fotae Rod. Is it naw aboot time yae showed us a rubbish wan tae proove yer still human

Good grief, the aroma of deep-fried Mars Bars has become quite overpowering. I think a retreat to Hadrian's Wall might be in order... I'm off.....
...... meant to give you this yesterday. Forgot
striking mono on many respect .. the dog makes much easier the reading ..
Wonderful processing; very dramatic! Nice dog too
An exciting well composed image. The dog gives the scale of the rocky outcrop. Well done, Rod.
WOW! Rod, can you please ask your images not to smack me in the face like this? Si.
Rod, I'm sure your dog used to be taller.....must be all that walking you do. Great definition in the rocks and works very well in mono.......very nice image mate and thanks for the welcome back.
A really impressive landscape, very well captured.
Un blanco y negro perfecto..
