Like this , still don't know what that poem means , but I,m working on it ,Kel
Cheers Kel. Keep at it
Glad you like this.
Great mono image, feeling of space and solitude, graduated tonal range in clear sky works really well.
All of what Nigel said... Plus. You've aced this one matey it's tree-mendus. Terrific space gives a feeling of peace
Thanks mate. Don't be working too hard pal.
Taking the day off today... I have a date with my wife!

Hope it goes well. Behave yourself. Flowers might get you off to a good start.
Anither wan nailed Alan ! Fantastic feeling of space (which we all need) and the beauty of the outdoors , fantastic work
Some 'perfectionists' might quibble at the inclusion of the telephone wires. Please ignore them: for we live in the present.
Excellent composition, big sky, nicely moody.
Such an elegant composition, with that big graduated sky over all: you have a good eye for this sort of landscape, and the B and W presentation works so well.

Never ever a problem for me, Bill
Thanks, Ronnie, you're a gent.
Above us only sky. Empty and infinite.
Although that does remind me of Compo's thoughts on the concept of infinity in an early Last of the Summer Wine (when they were still redundant, angry and swearing).
I don't belive in infinity. Tha knows the chip shop with the mirrors on the walls? Tha looks in them and tha sees thasel' reflected. Tha goes on and on forever. Now some clever bloke might think he were in infinity. When he's actually just in a tatty chip shop.
I used to have a wooly hat like that. Though I've never really favoured the Welly.
Elemental. A simple and powerful composition, Alan.
A great mono image
Love the simplicity and how it captures a lone moment.
Outstandin work Alan. Thanks for this, Si
...Thanks all for your great comments!
A superb minimalistic beauty. Outstanding work Alan.
From the Boss of minimalism, that's a serious compliment ...thanks, Charlotte
The combination of man made and natural adds to the image. Like the uncluttered composition.
A fine feeling of space and I like the incoming or outgoing weather front.

incoming....outgoing..... all I remember is it was bloody cold......
Nice Image!! I like it a lot!!
I love the bold simplicity of this and the bold use of space
Wonderfully strong and simple B&W composition.
Rende- much appreciated.
