excellent detail and light.. like it a lot. hope you don't mind me saying so, there are some artefacts, maybe a bit too much sharpening or compression? I see it under the eye in the green.

Many thanks everyone. What always amazes me is that these get more votes than portraits, which to me need so much more preparation and planning. Sad

Stunning macro detail Richard. It's quite amazing what sorts, shapes and sizes are lurking down under our boots.
Why do shots like this get more votes than portraits ?? Who knows. I guess there are as many answers to that as there are posting on EPZ. One of life's many little mysteries.

Cracking shot of this vine weevil. I have to say I don't like these little devils as they lay they're eggs in my patio pots and the lava eat the roots and kill all my plants. It is excellant detail though.

It's probably all down to leaving a comment and then not voting Ron haha. You've done it again my friend. Slow down Wink

Big thank you to Sylvia (Silverzone) for the User Award.
I would have thanked you personally but sadly Epz still will not let me have my PM's back. Must be 4 months now. Frustrated to hell and miss them. Sad
