Looking across Derwent Water to Keswick and Skiddaw from Grange Fell.
I spent the large part of a day scrambling amongst the crags and woods of Grange Fell.
The going was tough but the views and light were sensational. I didn't see one other person even though the lakeside honey pots were absolutely teeming!

Excellent composition. The Autumn colours in the foreground are just beautiful. Fantastic light. JNC
Totally different view from the crowd my friend, just wonderful colours and comp, nice sky too. It's always refreshing to see a different angle on something, and as well done as this.
All the very best

A wonderful Autumn scene that is a joy to view when large, I especially admire the way you have framed this one with the trees and sky surrounding the lake & mountains.

Fabulous view and light from Grange Fell (also known as Kings How), well done.
I know where you were scrambling Simon, I much prefer getting off the beaten track as well. Great shot from a different viewpoint.

Well worth the scramble for this beautiful wee shot, ... and the peace and quiet!![]()

So glad to have looked in on this one: it's so artistic, so golden. A beautiful scene captured by a craftsman.
