Balnakiel Beach at the very northern tip of Scotland.
A toned conversion of an image I uploaded a few weeks ago. I much prefer this version, it seems to emphasise the drama in the sky and the movement in the grasses.

I think I like this one better too. Just more drama overall.

This is one phenomenal image Simon, this and your previous mono image have been stunning, a pleasure to view.

I nearly overlooked this Simon partly 'cos it's a mono, I'm not that keen unless they have impact. When I looked and went large then I realised it's dramatic, has atmosphere and is expansive. The light is beautiful.

Great monochrome image with the fantastic grasses in the FG a perfect foil for the drama of the sky.
You're teetering on the edge of disaster with the sky in parts, just stopping before the PS shows, but I think you have achieved the ultimate on this one.
All the very best my friend,
Dougie
This reminds me of a beach here in Shetland Simon, black and white was a great choice for this scene, the large version really shows off the detail, fine image, Adrian
