St Connan's Church

St Connan's ChurchWhat a beautiful place, the sky may be a little bland, sometimes you just have what you have, for me it doesnít detract from the subject which is exposed and detailed beautifully, possibly a hint of the grad in the top though.

Grads are great, but a little problematic with scenes that donít have much in the way of a reasonably straight line between sky/land or highlight/shadow, what ever way you swing it, the grad will effect some parts you donít really want it to in this sort of image.

Possibly a good candidate for HDR with a bracketed exposure (which you may not have) or from a single RAW file or a duel processed RAW one for the sky and one for the building and blended in Photoshop/elements.

Converging verticals, often a bit problematic with shots like this, especially at the wide end, looks like you have dealt with it well, sometimes pulling the verticals can cause problems elsewhere, pros and cons, always.

Lovely shot though, I would be happy if it was mine.
