Playing in the Woods
A selection of experimental in camera effects using flash, panning and aperture manipulation. There is NO Photoshop work except RAW process and contrast adjustment.
Normal exposure.
1. Aperture manipulation using highlights in the background and shallow DOF
2. Aperture manipulation using a flash gun mounted on a tripod in the background and a shallow DOF plus panning in a foreground tree trunk.
Slowish shutter (1-2 sec)
3. Vertical panning using a off camera flash to freeze foreground tree trunk
4. Zooming during capture using a off camera flash to freeze foreground tree trunk.
5. Twisting during capture using a off camera flash to freeze foreground tree trunk.
Go try it, its fun.

These did turn out well. Nice to see it all pay off, other than us just having a laugh in the woods!
Great work, numbers 1 and 3 being my favourites. Must give it a try some day.
