Great dof and colour.
Love the single standout red flower against the greenery.
Good composition with the red flower on one of the thirds.

It may sound a strange thing to say, but to me the strength of this shot is the background - detail shots like this often benefit from landscape-esque arrangements - to me, the out-of-focus (and nicely so) background is set-up just so - the darker line at the top like the horizon and sky, the three taller grasses like distant trees, also mirrored with the three seed-pods lower down. The Poppy is placed perfectly, and the colours and soft contrast give it that final whack. This is one of those photographs that is far more than just the sum of its parts - you've made a sublime image from basically one red flower and a nice green field. That's no mean feat!
