Hi Peter, well to be honest I am not sure yet. I have only used it on one outing but shot in RAW mode. Until I use it in Jpeg mode with the camera doing the manipulation the jury is still out lets say!

Hi Stuart, like you a novice, and I was reading the forums and saw your thread on polorizers. I too have a FX30 and recenty purchase a polorizer filter, but although I see it working in subdueing reflections I have not seen the "brilliant blue" sky yet! How you getting on with your? I wondered if it was the camera not playing nicely with it or perhaps its just me! (yep, do revolve it to get best "effect") Peter
