Last in this series -I hope these are a little more grounded!
Thank you all so much for unreserved liking to excellent advice and comments
and mods in this series. Each time I learn a little more which hopefully I can put into practise
with my next still life session.
Finding space and getting the lighting right are the big issues.
I've always left a bit of space to see each bottle's shape before but a few have suggested a
closer grouping so we'll see how that works too.
A big thank you to Lavina (Fificat100) for her generous User Award.

I did prefer last nights one Kate, with the middle bottle being further back than the other two.
A bit too much of being in a ''straight line'' here I feel !!

I think I would choose to group them closer, but the clarity of the bottles and the plant is outstanding!

Another bottle winner.
Nicely assembled in a line with varying levels of water to add interest.
I preferred the floating examples with shadows but my opinion is not worth a lot.

Since I am now still in semi-mourning for my little 100 year old vase I have decided to try some "antique" fairs and look for green bottles, or even the blue poison ones, they are splendid, every shot better than the last. Practice is certainly making perfect Kate.

I am no expert at this genre (or any genre, come to think of it) so am nit really competent to comment usefully, but I would say that I like this one very much, Kate, and feel it is possibly your best still life to date.
Others will offer good advice I'm sure but I guess you have already taken on board suggestions already made.
Ronnie.

Good to watch your progression with this still life....
And really interesting to read all the comments.
Isn't it great we all think differently...
I would like to see this one with thesmallest bottle binding the other two together
So it would be in the middle of the two with that pretty flower actually on the middle sized bottle
Does that make sense??
