Spotted this box whilst out doing a spot of Urbex (urban exploration) today. Inside a burnt out house near where I live.
The house would of been owned by someone of some standing in its heyday.
It has been left unoccupied for some years now. Its a wonderful location with so much to shoot in there, although I suppose it is a littlle dangerous as its a sad state now. I like to try and find the things I think still hold some beauty in places that are now neglected and delapidated.
Hope you like the pic, if you do, please vote or comment.
Thanks.
Peace.
Simon.

I like the shot in itself, but the story adds to it. The colours and shallow depth of field work really well. The only element I amnot sure about is the bit of brown bottom left, but I guess you had to work and position yourself carefully! Be careful out there....
Yeah I see what you mean now. It does distract the eye a little, I had one without it in but I prefered the shallow DOF of this frame. Wished I'd cropped it out now. I left it in hoping it would add depth to the box but it would defo look better without it as the eye just gets lead down a dead end with it. Thanks for your comment.
