Title inspired by Dave's comment yesterday and the image inspired by Soar II by Charlotte, this is a different image from yesterday and cropped along the lines of the advice given by Al.

So a conglomeration of advice, but captured and processed by yours truly.

I particularly like the movement in the cloud and grass, for me it enhances the feeling of upcoming disaster!!

Thanks for looking and to all those that clicked and commented on yesterdays image, but especially to Kate (Irishkate) for her much valued UA.

When I said a whole 2 hour exposure yesterday I really meant 2 minutes............... OOOPS Blush and here again you had 2 minutes to spare; yet another great and dramatic image.

You've nailed this one Mark. The processing is excellent and I prefer the square crop too. Those structures are so overwhelming, you've captured the power and movement superbly.

Quite an emotive image, Mark, post-apocalyptical. Thought it was Ferrybridge but you had me fooled when you mentioned the M18 Wink

A perfect compromise here - a new image with better composition but still got those clouds
drawing us down and into the centre.
You must be delighted with these.

Yup, this works so well; balanced, energised with movement in FG and sky yet powerful contrasting looming stillness from the cooling towers. One of your best I think Smile

We drive past here at least four times a year and each time I want to stop and take a pic - but never do as we're always in a rush. Excellently taken Mark - and a brilliant title which works so well.
