This is taking Nature photograghy to the extremes to get the Bl--dy bird to stay still. I was attempting to capture ( siskins) not to this extreme when this female decided on some extreme photography.
PS this chain actually holds up the feeders at Conway RSPB reserve.

Good detail and colours in the plumage, set against a nice background.
Not too sure about so much out of focus log in the foreground, maybe a small crop would help?
