Taken today at the FS. There are a large amount of the Goldcrests in the woods and this one came in to see what all the others birds are doing...I also has a male GSW at last, just waiting on the Nutty's to arrive.

aww lovelyshot of this gorgeous little bird. I have had one visiting my garden for past two days and aint managed a shot of him yet such nippy little birds, if I get one as nice as this I will be happy - again lovely detailed shot with natural colours

It's my Feeding Station in my local woods near Attlebridge, Cheers, David.

Brill great image Danny

S-u-p-e-r-b Unfortunately I don't know where FS is or what "I also has a male GSW " means, but it is the image that counts.

Great capture of a very shy and elusive bird, great detail and colour and I am very jealous.

Superb capture of this our smallest bird. I would love to be seeing 'loads of them' so when you have finished could you chase them down my way David !.

great shot, not an easy shot to acheive i have been chasing these around at my local forest for a while now without success , now is a good time to attempt a shot of the gold crest as they are coming down from the canopy in search of food , they normally hang out with blue tits and long tailed tits so if you can spot a gang of these you can normally find gold crests among them.

Such a lovely shot with superb detail, I stood in awe yesterday on the Isle of Wight waiting for one just to get to the edge of a branch to get a shot - but wasn't to be. Ina

CORKER !!

lovely shot
- I will swap you 2 goldcrests for 6 nuttys (I've got loads at my FS) Wink
My lack of nutty pics just means I'm not good enough to catch them - they are there most of the time!

A terrific shot, David. Spent some time amongst the pines in Cardinham Woods nr Bodmin in September hoping to get decent photos of Goldcrests. Saw several but none obliged.
