Taken today at the FS. There are a large amount of the Goldcrests in the woods and this one came in to see what all the others birds are doing...I also has a male GSW at last, just waiting on the Nutty's to arrive.

It's my Feeding Station in my local woods near Attlebridge, Cheers, David.
S-u-p-e-r-b Unfortunately I don't know where FS is or what "I also has a male GSW " means, but it is the image that counts.

Great capture of a very shy and elusive bird, great detail and colour and I am very jealous.

great shot, not an easy shot to acheive i have been chasing these around at my local forest for a while now without success , now is a good time to attempt a shot of the gold crest as they are coming down from the canopy in search of food , they normally hang out with blue tits and long tailed tits so if you can spot a gang of these you can normally find gold crests among them.

Fab shot David.. very envious..... I've only seen a very quick climpse of these and have an out of focus back of the head shot!
