Nice tones in this Lorraine, how do you revert to B/W, if you just desaturate, this is the worst way to go, if you had gone around the bay you would have found me getting wet inside in the HIGH TIDE INN.

No I convert to B&W in raw editor then I use silver efx but not sure if I am doing it right to be honest, something I am going to have to keep having a go of, I did go into the fairground also and into the hi-tide arcade place ,for a toilet stop lol

Hi Lorraine
I go into Photoshop and use the black and white function, go to image-black and white- try auto first, if you do not get the desired effect, click the preset button and go for maximum whites and maximum blacks, this works very well, silver efx is also excellent, the one I use most now is OnOne phototools, the B/W function there is also excellent!

Cheers for that info Trev, I shall certainly give that a go,I think I have OnOne Phototools on my other pc, so I shall also give that a try ,its strange when I see someone else's B&W image I instantly by looking at it, know if I like it or not, but when it comes to ones I do, I am never sure
