Congratulations on Photo of the week. Very well deserved for this beautiful image. Perfection

Perfectly timed at 1/30sec. Slower and it would look like milk, faster and you would loose the sense of movement. This has given me an idea for our club competition next month. The subject is food. I won't copy though. If it works I'll upload to EPZ.

I agree with Nigeve1 but would make the background monochrome. I love the lady's skin tones. They contrast with her grey clothing. The gold bangle is beautiful. I'd also keep the red cyclamen in the fore ground.
This said the picture speaks volumes as it is. Very will caught. Congratulations.

Slow shutter speeds give a great sense of movement. Too many shots in this section are "frozen".

Lovely moment caught well with a sense of movement. Check out my shot at Brighton & Hove stadium.

Nice sense of movement.

Nice steady shot considering the makeshift tripod. A square crop would increase the impact of this shot.

We had a similar shot entered into our club Action Speed competition this evening. The photographer had not been able to get in as close so the impact was lost. The judge commented that, without being in close, he would like to have seen the kite/para sail.

Great focus and frozen movement. A really super image. I would also like to see a shot with a slower shutter speed to show how fast the moths wings beat.

Looks like the view from Grand Hotel Duomo. What a view and great light.

Lovely picture but I hope you didn't disturb the little feller. http://www.bds.org.uk/abandoned_fawn.html

These guys are so photogenic. It's the markings that do it. I had a great day at Port Lympne watching the new cubs.

What a beauty. I attempted a similar shot at Port Lymne a couple of years ago but it was so wet and dull I struggled to get much colour in my shots.

Camera phones now have higher megapixels than my first Sony digital camera so can record plenty of information. You have a good eye for a picture. There is a free app called Adobe Photoshop Express that will let you make some adjustments to your pictures. Your shot of Monks Wood uploaded on 21st Oct is great but the one after that doesn't have the same colour density. You can adjust that in the app. Woodland is always difficult to shoot as all the light is above the trees so try to include as little sky as possible. Look forward to seeing more from your phone. Don't forget to rotate your shots.
I would say join a camera club but I suspect the one I belong to is an exception in that most of the members are compact users, but you never know. Next time you see your local club advertising their exhibition go along.

Love it. A nice change from the cliched view across Cuckmere Haven from Seaford Head. J
