206 (318)Just messing about in the garden while feeding the birds. I've had a bad cold for a week or two and haven't felt like going out snapping, not like these stalwart photographers who relish the wet and snow but who also get some fab pictures because they go that extra mile. Well, not me. I cosy up to the fire with my old cat and eat crisps.
Anyway, my watering can was posing rather nicely for me in its finery so the least I could do was capture it for posterity. And hurray! The sun's just coming out. But Boooo, now I'll have to go out, if only to panic buy in Sainsburys. ![]()

We're still snowed in - too much ice to use the tractor to tow us out! It has thawed slightly today, but there's another dumping due tonight/tomorrow.
We'll not starve (even if it means having a roast for breakfast!), but now low on milk, no fresh fruit, the only fresh veg is potatoes. Thank goodness for the freezer (at least the cats won't starve, I've enough food to last them another week). ![]()
..........I wonder what cat food tastes like! ![]()
It's okay, the cat food is safe!!
About 3.30, after the sun had melted the ice, Graham said 'Let's try and get out!' so we did. A quick (well over an hour and a half later) and we were home, fully stocked and ready for the next dumping! ![]()
