Poppy 1993 - 2013

My darling, beautiful Poppy departed today. She'd been very ill for some time and her poor little body finally had to be laid to rest. She'd had enough. It was bittersweet to see her this morning have walk around the garden, in the rain, visiting her usual places. It was almost as if she knew what was coming and was having one last stroll around her favourite haunts. She has joined her sister Heather who died a couple of years ago and they are both now at peace under our lawn.

Sadly our animals never live long enough. Sorry you lost Poppy.
