Saw this dead fish floating in the canal and just waited until a suitable person walked across the gates. Simple, but I think it looks a bit sad, which is how I felt upon finding this poor fish. I know the white is a bit burnt out, but I added a bit of noise to burn in some colour but too much looked odd, so I left it.

You've turned quite a gruesome occurrence into a very good photograph. Looking at the ratio of views to clicks, I'd guess many people are being turned off by the subject without looking at the qualities of the photograph. The diagonals and the positioning of the person in the reflection make for a pleasing composition but I suppose a dead fish is a bit of a turn off.
