Taken from half way up the steep hill on the way to the Greenwich Observatory. Just before it poured with rain.
V2 is another view from the very top, given a mild split tone.

Thanks for popping by.
Chris

And thank you to CliveA for his UA on my image posted yesterday. Most appreciated.

A fabulous city scape Chris - I love this view of the old and the new - and it works so well in mono. I think I prefer your composition in v1 too, but it's a close run thing.

v1 is beautifully done. Good framing and the light gives a lovely depth to the buildings. An excellent bit of processing, Chris.

I was thinking to myself: "this isn't the one in the b&w group - I like this one much more." And I do. When comparing the two, I find that I like the framing with the trees on the left, and the rich blacks of this one.

Two wonderfully composed and crafted photographs depicting the London skyline, version 2 gets my humble vote. Great light.

Stunning viewpoint, very effective in mono, Chris! My part of the world! I grew up here and used to go down these slopes on a toboggan, at speed!! I still love going back.

A very fine cityscape, Chris, suits the mono treatment. Not of big fan of split-toning, so V1 gets my vote Wink
